- An employer, joint venturer, partner, or franchisor of any independent repair professional.
- A warranty provider, guarantor of workmanship, or insurer of appliance repairs.
3. Independent Contractor Relationship
All service professionals, technicians, and repair specialists connected through our service operate as completely independent third-party contractors. They exercise sole control over their own schedules, methods, tools, parts, pricing, safety procedures, and customer agreements. Abilene Appliance Care does not supervise, direct, or control the physical performance, scheduling, or quality of work executed by independent contractors.
4. Homeowner Responsibilities & Verification
As a homeowner or service requester, you are solely responsible for:

- Reviewing and approving all written diagnostic fee policies, parts charges, and labor estimates before authorizing any physical repair work.
- Making your own informed decision regarding whether to repair or replace your appliance based on contractor diagnostic findings.
5. Estimates, Diagnostic Fees & Pricing Independence
Abilene Appliance Care does not establish, regulate, or collect repair pricing, service call fees, or diagnostic charges. Diagnostic trip fee policies, hourly labor rates, replacement component costs, and payment methods are set independently by your assigned contractor. In-home diagnostic inspections typically involve an initial service fee; always ask your assigned contractor about their diagnostic fee and written estimate policies before work begins.
6. Service Availability & Geographic Scope
Contractor dispatch coordination is offered for eligible residential areas in Abilene, Texas (including verified residential ZIP codes such as 79601, 79602, 79603, 79605, and 79606), subject to independent contractor availability and service scope. Dispatch coordination is not offered for military installations (such as Dyess Air Force Base) or unverified outlying territories.
7. No Performance Guarantees or Timing Promises
Abilene Appliance Care makes no representations or warranties regarding:
- Same-day service availability or specific arrival windows (service dispatch operates on a standard weekday basis subject to contractor schedule availability).
- The successful outcome, longevity, or durability of any repair performed by an independent contractor.
- The availability of specialized replacement parts from original equipment manufacturers.
8. Limitation of Liability
